So I'm doing this RPG over Skype with some (including DAers berenwasteland, konezumi, and aseariel). We're using a pretty freeform system called Primetime Adventures; each session is approached as an episode of a television series. The series we're "writing" is called Cogs, and it's essentially 1984 meets H.G. Wells with a heavy Firefly influence.

Now, this proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that I am a huge fucking nerd, but more importantly this RPG has made me want to start drawing again. Specifically with ink, a medium I never really experimented with back when I thought visual art would be my life's pursuit. But I crave some really stark line drawings of characters, NPCs, and technology, and since I can't afford to get commissions from the many wonderful artists here on DA I'm going to have to do it myself. I foresee the potential for disaster, but given some time, a supply of stock for poses and suitable pictures of the actors I envision playing these characters, and the kind of stubborn determination at which I excel, I believe this is doable.
